[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] Gimhae City, Gyeongnam Province, is recruiting participants for the '2021 Senior Job and Social Activity Support Project (Public Interest Activities and Market-Type)' from the 30th to December 18th.

Recruitment and selection will be conducted by project teams across 59 projects, an increase of 3 compared to the previous year, at 19 Eup/Myeon/Dong Administrative Welfare Centers and 9 implementing organizations including Gimhae Senior Club and Gimhae Gaya Senior Club.

The total number of selected participants is 4,635, with priority recruitment (selection) of 3,826 participants for public interest activities and market-type projects starting in January 2021.

The public interest activity recruitment fields include 39 projects with 3,590 participants, including new projects such as Clean Senior Centers and Clean Haeban Stream, while the market-type projects include 14 projects with 236 participants such as Dalbodeure Silver Cafe, Hygiene Management Service Clean Eun Morning Project, and Neulsom Sesame Oil.

Social service type (5 projects, 410 participants) and employment placement type (1 project, 399 participants) will be recruited separately after December.

New applicants can apply by visiting their local Eup/Myeon/Dong Administrative Welfare Center, Gimhae Senior Club, Gimhae Gaya Senior Club, or other senior job implementing organizations with a resident registration certificate and ID from December 7 to 18, or apply online.

Selection of senior job project participants will be conducted by the implementing organizations based on applicants' income level, household composition, and activity capabilities, selecting those with the highest scores first.
