"Why Is Chu Hiding in Silence... Because of the Regime's Corruption?"

In a statement released that day, they said, "On the 1296th day of President Moon's inauguration, the day of national disgrace in the Year of the Rat," and added, "We declare that we will enter a legislative struggle of resistance, using this day, which turned the clock of South Korean history back to the darkness of anti-democracy, as a turning point."
They said, "The disciplinary request for the suspension of Minister of Justice Choo Mi-ae cannot be decided without the president's approval. If there was approval, President Moon must clearly explain the reason for dismissing the Prosecutor General, who was appointed by his own hand and whose term is legally guaranteed," and asked, "Why does he remain silent, hiding behind Minister Choo, despite damaging the rule of law? Is it because of regime corruption that cannot be handled even by command authority and inspection?"
They pointed out, "The economic feasibility of Wolseong Unit 1 was manipulated at the president's single word, 'When will the permanent suspension be decided?' The world's best nuclear power technology was crushed, and the nation's energy foundation was illegally damaged. This was an issue that should have been punished regardless of rank," and added, "Instead, the prosecution was intimidated with 'Do not cross the line.' When the prosecution investigation headed to the Blue House, the Prosecutor General was suspended from duty, and even the Prime Minister was sent to act as a proxy to encourage the ministry, which is no different from a suspect."
They said, "It was revealed that the Blue House systematically intervened in the election to have the president's 30-year-old close friend elected as mayor of Ulsan. The word 'president' appears 35 times in the prosecution's indictment. Due to the persistent obstruction by the faithful action leader Minister Choo and the disbandment of the investigation team, the investigation that was heading toward the 'president' eventually stopped," and added, "We understand all this as the result of President Moon's will to somehow block the investigation into his illegal allegations or the tacit approval of those who read that will. Is this really President Moon? If you are confident, please answer."
They welcomed the proposal of Lee Nak-yeon, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, saying, "Let's carry out the Choo Mi-ae?Yoon Seok-youl national audit together," and stated, "We will embrace the people within the protection of freedom and law against the Moon Jae-in administration, which sacrifices the hard-won liberal democracy and this country, the Republic of Korea, on the altar of the old 586 group."
