[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Slipper announced on the 27th that it has opened the ‘Slipper Sleep Research Center Gangnam Branch’ on Teheran-ro, Gangnam, Seoul.
This research center serves as Slipper’s directly operated showroom, designed to allow customers to comfortably experience mattresses and toppers firsthand. Slipper explained that it is designed to help customers find the mattress that suits them, differentiating it from other brands.
At the Slipper showroom, the Sleep Research Center, customers can try all Slipper products, including soft, medium, and hard type toppers, foam mattresses, and spring mattresses. Customers can take ample time to examine the products without interruption from sales staff, and if desired, receive advice from mattress experts to select the mattress and bed that best fit them.
According to Slipper, in the case of mattresses, various options are provided to resolve consumer concerns based on individual differences, allowing customers to directly experience and choose cushioning that matches their preferences, thereby increasing customer satisfaction.
Slipper’s new custom-made beds can also be found at the showroom. These custom products allow buyers to select headboard designs by type, foundation height, as well as fabric and color. Unlike mass-produced products, these items are made to order upon customer request, offering a unique rarity in the world.
Jung Hoyoung, CEO of Slipper, said, “Slipper mattress experts are professionals who have studied the advantages and disadvantages of memory foam and springs for at least two years, and have experience overseeing the entire product manufacturing process, from fabric and materials to viscoelasticity testing.” He added, “Based on this expertise, we expect to resolve various questions that arise during customers’ mattress selection process.”
Meanwhile, Slipper Mattress offers a service that allows customers to get a refund within 100 days if the mattress does not suit their body after purchase, providing a service that considers customer discomfort even after purchase.
