[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Saeng-hye] Fresh Easy announced on the 27th that it will release the menu featured in the web drama "Milkid," which depicts the stories of food MDs developing meal kits, as actual products.
"Milkid," supported by Fresh Easy, is a web drama that shows the process of the protagonist, a food MD dreaming of the best taste, launching various types of meal kit products. From tteokbokki to steak, diverse menus were introduced through the drama according to each episode's theme, and Fresh Easy produced and released these menus as real meal kit products.
The newly released meal kit products include five items reflecting the stories from the drama: "Tteokbokki 1970," made in the traditional way with chewy rice cakes and savory fish cakes; "Podubu Dakgalbi," featuring spicy and sweet chicken ribs and mild podubu; "Shrimp Ssuk Pesto Rigatoni Pasta," offering a rich flavor with chewy rigatoni pasta, fragrant mugwort pesto, and shrimp; "Onion Volcano Budae Jjigae," with spicy seasoning and plenty of onions adding sweetness; and "Shrimp Cranberry Steak," combining juicy steak and plump shrimp for the enjoyment of two dishes.
To commemorate the product launch, a live commerce event will be held on "Naver Shopping Live" on the drama's finale day, the 27th. Actress Park Na-eun, the drama's lead, and PD Lee Uk-jung, who participated as a creator, will appear as guests to introduce the meal kit products and share episodes from the drama, offering various discounts to viewers.
