Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture 'For Diverse Possibilities of Public Theaters' Online Forum

[Asia Economy Reporter Byunghee Park] The Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture will hold an online forum titled "For the Possibilities of Diverse Public Theaters."


This forum, which shares the necessity of long-term policy establishment for public theaters, will be held on the 30th at 2 PM on the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture's YouTube channel "SparkTV."


The event is hosted by the "Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture Public Theater Committee Preparation Group (hereafter, the Preparation Group)." The Preparation Group was formed in April and has held several meetings, focus group interviews (FGI), and colloquiums on the topic of public theater operation methods.


The forum will be conducted in two parts. Part 1 (2?3 PM) will discuss "Public Theaters for the Diversity of the Artistic Ecosystem." Moderated by Woo Yeon, Director of Theater Operations at the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture, the topics include ▲Background and progress of the Public Theater Committee Preparation Group (Jini Kim, Independent Producer) ▲Diversity of the Artistic Ecosystem (Jisun Park, Independent Producer) ▲Sharing results of the Artist FGI (Seoryeong Kim, Independent Producer and Planning Director of the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture Art Center Operations Preparation Group) ▲Public Theater Operation Models Based on Diversity (Seunghoon Lee, CEO of Meta Planning Consulting).


Part 2 (3?4:30 PM) will address "Suggestions for the Operation of Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture Public Theaters." Moderated by Yoonwoo Choi, Secretary General of the Korea Small Theater Association, the session includes ▲Proposal for Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture Public Theater Operation Model (Yanggu Lee, Playwright and Director) ▲Comprehensive Discussion (Eunji Hong, Director of Sinchon Culture Development Center; Lee Ri, Actor; Hana Nam, Secretary General of Seoul Fringe Network; Yeonim Kim, Editor-in-Chief of the webzine "Chum:in"; and Seyoung Jeong, Performing Artist).
