The 'Dongjak Chungyo-gil Course 3' starts from Dongjak Station, crosses the Han River, passes through Heukseok Station, Nodeul Station, and Sayuksin Park, following the 'Hangang Nadeul-gil' course, themed around filial piety by visiting historical and cultural spaces in the district.
For more details, inquiries can be made to the Dongjak-gu Sports Association.
Additionally, to support the mental health of residents exhausted by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, on the 27th at 10:30 AM, a 'Mental Health Lecture' to overcome Corona Blue will be held for the Mental Health Resident Education Group.
The lecture will be delivered by Director Ko Jin-seon of Our Neighborhood Mental Health Research Institute at the Megastudy Tower It's Real Time in Noryangjin, focusing on 'Checking Mental Health Status and Methods to Relieve Depression Caused by COVID-19.'
The lecture will be conducted face-to-face for the Mental Health Resident Education Group, composed of Dongjak-gu Life Keepers.
The number of participants is limited to 10 or fewer, and COVID-19 prevention rules such as wearing masks, temperature checks, and maintaining a distance of over 2 meters will be strictly followed.
The recorded lecture will later be broadcast on Dongjak-gu's official YouTube channel so that many residents can access the lecture non-face-to-face.
Jo Jin-hee, Director of the Sports and Culture Division, said, "I hope this walking competition, which can be conducted while following quarantine rules even during the COVID-19 situation, will be a twofold opportunity to effectively overcome Corona Blue and maintain physical health." He added, "We will prioritize residents' safety from COVID-19 and do our best in disinfecting facilities frequently used by residents in accordance with the strengthened social distancing level 2."
