SKB Presents Special Documentary 'Viewing Siwha and Banwol Industrial Complexes in the 4th Industrial Era'

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] SK Broadband announced on the 26th that it will broadcast a special documentary titled 'Manufacturing Industry in the 4th Industrial Era: A Look at Siwha and Banwol Industrial Complexes' on cable TV local channels on the 30th to explore the future of South Korea's manufacturing industry.


This broadcast highlights advanced countries' cases of manufacturing innovation through 'Smart Factories' and the changes in manufacturing companies located in the Siwha and Banwol Industrial Complexes, which were designated as Korea's first smart leading industrial complexes.


A Smart Factory refers to an intelligent production plant that combines digital automation solutions and advanced information and communication technology (ICT) to dramatically improve factory productivity and product quality.


This documentary was independently planned and produced by Hanbit Broadcasting, a local cable broadcaster serving the Siwha and Banwol Industrial Complex areas, with support from the Korea Radio Promotion Association.


The main broadcast will air at 10 PM on Hanbit Broadcasting local channel 1, the cable TV channel for the Ansan, Siheung, and Gwangmyeong areas. After the broadcast, it will also be available on B tv, B tv Cable, and the SK Broadband local channel website.


Choi Hee-jae, Director of News Production at SK Broadband Hanbit Broadcasting, said, "Through this documentary, we hope to promote growth not only for the Siwha and Banwol Industrial Complex, Korea's first industrial complex, but also for the manufacturing industry sector in our country."
