Lee Nak-yeon "Yoon Seok-yeol's Allegations Shocking... Considering National Assembly State Audit"
[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] Lee Nak-yeon, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, effectively urged Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol to resign by saying, "Please decide your position," while former Dongyang University professor Jin Joong-kwon criticized on the 25th, "Leader Lee has lost the most face in this matter."
On the same day, Jin posted on his Facebook, "Back in the day, there were street hustlers playing the game of Park Bo-jang boards in front of Seoul Station. There were always lookouts around them," he said. Park Bo-jang is a strategic game played with janggi (Korean chess) pieces.
He added, "(Leader Lee) is just a stooge in the shell game orchestrated by Chu Mi-ae, pretending to be shocked and just acting as a lookout," and raised his voice, "It's so obvious that only the gullible 'Moonppa' (a derogatory term for blind supporters of President Moon Jae-in) would be fooled, but the public won't be deceived by that."
He sarcastically remarked about Leader Lee, "The pro-Moon faction seems to be thinking differently already, but it's really pathetic to see him trying to cling on like that."

Earlier, on the 24th, Leader Lee said regarding Minister Chu's exclusion of Prosecutor General Yoon from his duties and filing disciplinary charges, "It is hard to suppress the shock and disappointment at the allegations announced by the Ministry of Justice against Prosecutor General Yoon."
In a post on his Facebook, he emphasized, "I hope the Ministry of Justice will strictly proceed with the future procedures according to the law," and "I recommend Prosecutor General Yoon to decide his position as a public official."
Also, at the party's Supreme Council meeting the next day, Leader Lee said, "The allegations against Prosecutor General Yoon announced by the Ministry of Justice are shocking," and "Please consider the party's direction to promote a parliamentary audit."
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Justice has scheduled a disciplinary review committee meeting for Prosecutor General Yoon on the 2nd of next month.
On the 26th, Minister of Justice Chu Mi-ae announced through the Ministry of Justice notification, "According to the Prosecutor Disciplinary Act, the disciplinary review date has been set for the 2nd of next month, and Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol, the subject of the disciplinary charges, or his special attorney has been notified to appear." This disciplinary committee meeting is being held eight days after the disciplinary request and suspension order against Prosecutor General Yoon on the 24th.
