[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Yeosu City, led by Mayor Kwon Oh-bong, has been criticized for showing an administration still insensitive to the COVID-19 situation.
The photo was taken around 10 a.m. on the 26th, showing that there was no COVID-19 prevention staff at the entrance of Yeosu City Hall to check visitors' identities and temperatures.
A citizen entering the entrance appeared confused and instead looked for a prevention officer.
Yeosu City Hall is a place visited by 290,000 Yeosu citizens and employs about 1,000 public officials and contract workers, making it more vulnerable to infections than anywhere else, thus requiring thorough prevention and control measures.
This photo shows Yeosu City Hall's negligent administration regarding COVID-19 prevention guidelines.
