Wavve announced on the 26th that the first episode of the TV CF series featuring IU as the advertising model will be released on the 28th. It is designed with a 'convenience store' concept to represent Wavve, a 24-hour content store where you can enjoy desired content anytime, anywhere.
Jaegeun Bae, Head of Wavve Marketing Strategy Group, explained the reason for selecting the model, saying, "IU's youthful and bright image is expected to greatly help spread a positive perception of the Wavve service."
To commemorate IU's selection as a model, Wavve will open an 'IU Zone' within Wavve starting on the 28th.
In the 'IU Zone,' viewers can watch IU's broadcast VODs such as "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo," "Producer," and "You're the Best, Lee Soon-shin," as well as "Heroes," showcasing IU's variety show activities from 10 years ago. Additionally, viewers can find IU's recommended works selected within Wavve.
Meanwhile, Wavve is also conducting a 'WBTI Test' event to find the TV character most similar to you.
Inspired by the personality type test MBTI, this test allows you to discover TV characters similar to you, such as 'Running Man - Kwangsoo,' 'High Kick Through the Roof - Park Haemi,' and 'Mr. Trot - Lim Youngwoong,' as well as characters that are opposites or perfect matches. If you upload your test results to SNS with a hashtag, you will be entered into a draw to receive a coffee gifticon.
