Andong-si Produces and Distributes 'Eommakaturi' Tourism Promotion Song Video

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Dong-wook] Andong City in Gyeongbuk announced on the 26th that it has produced a 'Mommy Katuri Tourism Promotion Song' video using the popular Mommy Katuri character aired on EBS, in collaboration with Funnyflux Co., Ltd. (CEO Jeong Gil-hoon) and the Gyeongbuk Content Agency (Director Lee Jong-soo).


The newly released promotional song is a 1 minute and 53 seconds video. It features the four Kkobyeongi siblings introducing Andong to a squirrel bored with monotonous daily life.


In the 'Mommy Katuri' broadcast, Maji, Duri, Sezzi, and Kkongji each introduce representative local tourist attractions such as Wolyeonggyo Bridge, Hahoe Village, Mask Dance Festival Site, Dosan Seowon, Manhyujeong, Seonseong Waterfront Path, Jebiwon Mireukbul, and Confucian Land. The video concludes by promoting the Kwon Jeong-saeng Fairy Tale Land, commemorating the late author Kwon Jeong-saeng, the original creator of Mommy Katuri.


The Mommy Katuri Andong Tourism Promotion Song will first be released on YouTube and Andong City Hall’s official blog, Makada Andong. Additionally, it will be registered as a public work with conditions including source indication, non-commercial use, and prohibition of derivative works, allowing anyone to use the Mommy Katuri Andong Tourism Promotion Song.


An official from Andong City stated, "We hope that Mommy Katuri, Andong’s representative content, along with the region’s major tourist attractions, will become more widely known nationwide," and added, "We plan to continuously discover projects utilizing characters in the future."
