[Today’s Weather] Large Temperature Difference and Snow·Rain in Some Areas

The Korea Meteorological Administration stated, "Due to the influence of a high-pressure system moving eastward near the Shandong Peninsula in China, the entire country will be mostly cloudy, and the eastern part of Gangwon Province will be generally overcast."

In particular, the temperature difference between day and night will be around 10 degrees Celsius, especially in inland areas. In Jeju Island, some rain is expected between 6 a.m. and 12 p.m. on this day.

In the mountainous areas of Gangwon with lower temperatures, rain or snow will begin around 6 p.m. on this day and will mostly turn to snow from 3 p.m. on the 27th.

Precipitation amounts are expected to be less than 5 mm in Jeju Island, and 5 mm in the northern part of eastern Gangwon, as well as Ulleungdo and Dokdo.

Morning low temperatures by region are forecasted as follows: △Seoul 3°C △Chuncheon -1°C △Gangneung 5°C △Daejeon 2°C △Cheongju 2°C △Daegu 4°C △Gwangju 5°C △Jeonju 4°C △Busan 7°C △Jeju 10°C △Ulleungdo and Dokdo 8°C.

Daytime high temperatures are expected to be: △Seoul 10°C △Chuncheon 10°C △Gangneung 12°C △Daejeon 12°C △Cheongju 11°C △Daegu 13°C △Gwangju 14°C △Jeonju 12°C △Busan 16°C △Jeju 14°C △Ulleungdo and Dokdo 12°C.

Fine dust levels will be 'Bad' in Seoul, southern Gyeonggi, and the Chungcheong region, while other areas will have 'Moderate' levels. In Incheon and northern Gyeonggi, 'Bad' levels are expected temporarily in the morning.

The Korea Meteorological Administration advised, "In the mountainous areas of Gangwon, accumulated rain or snow may freeze, causing slippery roads. Please exercise extra caution for traffic safety."
