On-site Investigation Conducted with 80 Staff Members Deployed, Active Response
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] On the 25th at 3:30 PM, Noh Hyun-song, Mayor of Gangseo-gu, held an emergency COVID-19 countermeasure meeting and instructed thorough preparations to prevent further spread of the infection in the region following a cluster outbreak at an aerobics academy.
Although Seoul has currently declared COVID-19 response level 2 citywide, considering the seriousness of the situation, the district emphasized actively responding by applying the level 3 quarantine response manual.
Accordingly, until this situation stabilizes, all public facilities managed or hosted by the district, including meetings and events, as well as sports facilities, cultural facilities, and welfare facilities with high risk of infection, will be completely suspended.
