Jin Joong-kwon: "President Moon seems to have saved the country three times in a past life... Choo is like Kkakdugi" On the 25th, at BEXCO Exhibition Hall 1 in Haeundae-gu, Busan, a current affairs talk titled "Beyond Camps, Toward the Future!" was held, featuring a discussion between Professor Park Hyung-jun of Dong-A University and former Dongyang University Professor Jin Joong-kwon.

[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] Regarding the suspension of Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol's duties by Justice Minister Chu Mi-ae, former Dongyang University professor Jin Joong-kwon directly criticized the Moon Jae-in administration on the 25th, saying, "This regime is destroying the liberal democratic system."

On the afternoon of the same day, invited by 'Channel Ibaku,' Jin participated in a current affairs discussion titled 'Beyond Factions, Toward the Future' at Busan BEXCO alongside Dong-A University professor Park Hyung-joon, stating, "What is happening before our eyes is not a fight between the ruling and opposition parties or between Chu Mi-ae and Yoon Seok-yeol."

Targeting the current government, he pointed out, "They are undermining the independence of the prosecution to prevent investigations into themselves. They are blocking audits by the Board of Audit and Inspection and are unhesitant in mentioning court impeachments," adding, "The regime is incapacitating institutions that monitor and check society."

He continued, "I feel a sense of crisis that capitalism itself is collapsing," and confessed, "Watching yesterday's incident, I also felt a slight sense of fear."

Additionally, Jin referred to Minister Chu as a 'kkakdugi' (cubed radish kimchi) and some lawmakers as 'naburaengi' (riffraff). He said, "Chu Mi-ae is a kkakdugi. There is no word from the Blue House, Lee Nak-yeon is supporting it, and the lawmaker riffraff are also backing it. It seems the decision was made at the Blue House."

He raised his voice, saying, "Never before have so many people from the Blue House been indicted," and added, "The Blue House has been run like the past Jeondaehyup (National Council of Student Representatives) or a student council."

Jin emphasized, "Right now, it's the Prosecutor General and the head of the Board of Audit and Inspection, but the next targets will be those who oppose power or do not comply, and after that, individual citizens."

He sarcastically commented on President Moon, saying, "It seems he saved the country about three times in his past lives." Jin said, "He became president easily due to impeachment, met Kim Jong-un, and saw his approval ratings recover due to the COVID-19 crisis," adding, "He branded himself as the Candlelight Revolution regime, so expectations were high, but since last year, things have gone downhill."

He evaluated, "This regime has established itself as a vested interest group but has fallen as a group that pursues values. Objectively, their COVID-19 quarantine efforts were good, but they have done nothing properly otherwise."
