[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] The Muan Fire Station in Jeonnam (Chief Park Won-guk) announced on the 25th that Fire Lieutenant Kang Ji-young won the Encouragement Award by participating in the ‘1st Jeonnam Fire School Instructor Pool Lecture Contest’ held on the 24th.
The ‘Instructor Pool Lecture Contest,’ held to celebrate the 4th anniversary of the Jeonnam Fire School, was promoted to improve the teaching and lecture skills of instructors dispatched from frontline fire stations for training newly appointed personnel and specialized training for current employees.
This competition, held with a minimal number of participants due to COVID-19, featured eight participants competing in four fields (fire, rescue, emergency medical services, psychological counseling) in a heated lecture contest.
Fire Lieutenant Kang Ji-young, who received the Encouragement Award, gave a 15-minute presentation on the topic of ‘Bleeding and Shock,’ receiving favorable evaluations by appropriately using related cases.
Fire Lieutenant Kang Ji-young said, “As an instructor in the instructor pool, I will continue to strive not only for new firefighters but also for the prevention of safety accidents among residents and make greater efforts to establish a proper fire safety culture.”
