[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] LG Uplus has won awards for three consecutive years at the 2020 Korea Advertising Awards with a campaign video promoting proper content viewing habits, produced using Korea's first artificial intelligence (AI) experiment, and virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) content created to protect endangered animals.
According to LG Uplus on the 25th, the campaign video "What Are Your Children Watching and Listening To?" created based on the media platform exclusively for infants and children, 'U+Idleulnara,' won two awards: the Silver Prize in the Public Service Advertisement category and the Bronze Prize in the Integrated Media category.
The VR and AR content "Endangered Animal Park," produced in collaboration with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) to protect endangered animals, won three awards: Silver Prize in the Public Service Advertisement category, Silver Prize in the Integrated Media category, and Silver Prize in the Promotion category.
Previously, LG Uplus received the Gold Prize in the Video Advertisement category in 2018 for the CSR campaign video supporting the visually impaired, "Thank You for Coming to Me," the Silver Prize in the Design category in 2019 for the 5G-based cultural and artistic space "U+5G Gallery," and the Bronze Prize in the Integrated Media Campaign Strategy category.
