[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Dongdaemun-gu (Mayor Yoo Deok-yeol) is recruiting 100 participants for the '2021 Winter Vacation University Student Administrative Experience Training.'

This 2021 Winter Vacation University Student Administrative Experience Training will be conducted mainly through on-site experience to avoid simple administrative assistance tasks and provide opportunities for active participation in work.

The target applicants are university students who have been registered residents of Dongdaemun-gu for more than one year as of the recruitment announcement date (November 20). However, students from distance universities such as the Korea National Open University and cyber universities, technical colleges, lifelong education centers, foreign university students, and those who have participated in administrative experience training within the past year are excluded from eligibility. (Priority selection candidates such as basic livelihood security recipients and their children, lower-income groups, persons with disabilities and medical benefit recipients under the Medical Care Assistance Act, national merit recipients and their children, North Korean defectors and their children, and multicultural families may participate multiple times.)

University students wishing to participate can apply through the Dongdaemun-gu Office website by 6 p.m. on the 30th.

The results will be announced on December 4, and selected university students will work from January 4 to January 29 next year, five hours a day (five days a week) at the district office, community service centers, Dongdaemun-gu Facilities Management Corporation, and other locations.

The training allowance is 50,600 KRW per day.
