Emart24 Releases Two Limited Edition 'Sokpul Ramen × Condition' Varieties

[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Emart24 announced on the 25th that it will release two limited edition ramen varieties, 'Sokpul Ramen × Condition,' in collaboration with the hangover relief drink Condition.

Sokpul Ramen is a private label (PL) product developed by Emart24, first introduced in April 2017 as the convenience store industry's first hangover relief concept. It features a spicy beef bone broth flavor, with liquid soup containing 0.9% Hovenia dulcis fruit extract and noodles containing 0.1% turmeric, among other ingredients.

Condition is South Korea's representative hangover relief brand, launched domestically for the first time in 1992, and has maintained the number one sales position ever since.

Emart24 and HK inno.N, the manufacturer of Condition, expect an increase in customers spending the year-end with home parties and online gatherings due to COVID-19, and thus have introduced this unique collaborative product to create a year-end party atmosphere.

This limited edition features the addition of ConditionEX5 concentrate, which contains Condition's unique know-how, to the existing Sokpul Ramen.

The product packaging design is also newly introduced. It includes a character gripping a bottle of Condition, sweating, and laughing heartily to provide customers with visual enjoyment.

Following the release of the cup ramen, Emart24 plans to launch the Sokpul Ramen × Condition bag ramen on the 28th. Both cup and bag ramen will be sold in a limited quantity of 500,000 units.

The selling price remains the same as before: 1,500 KRW for the Sokpul Ramen cup and 1,200 KRW for the bag ramen. Customers purchasing the bag ramen (4-pack) can buy it at a 10% discount from the regular price, at 4,300 KRW.

A promotional event commemorating the launch of Sokpul Ramen × Condition will also be held. Throughout December, customers who purchase two Sokpul Ramen cups will receive one free, and the bag ramen (4-pack) will be available for 3,000 KRW.

Kim Un-gyeom, buyer of the General Food Team at Emart24, said, “We hope that Sokpul Ramen × Condition, a reinterpretation of Emart24's steady seller Sokpul Ramen, will bring a little fun and freshness to customers during the year-end party season.”
