19 Students from Jeonnam Specialized High Schools Pass Final Civil Service Appointment Exam Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education


[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 24th that 19 graduates (or prospective graduates) from specialized high schools (including Meister high schools) passed the '2020 Jeollanam-do Career Competitive Employment Examination.'


The successful candidates were finally selected through a written exam and interview evaluation, overcoming a competition ratio of 9.47 to 1.


The schools of the successful candidates are as follows: ▲Wando Technical High School 4 ▲Yeosu Technical High School 3 ▲Mokpo Technical High School 2 ▲Naju Technical High School 2 ▲Yeosu Petrochemical High School 2 ▲Jeonnam Life Science High School 2 ▲Suncheon Technical High School 1 ▲Suncheon Cheongam High School 1 ▲Yeonggwang Technical High School 1 ▲Jeonnam Natural Science High School 1.


In addition, 10 candidates were finally accepted by the Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education, and 19 candidates who passed the first round of the national regional talent 9th-grade civil servant exam are preparing for the second round interview.


The Office of Education cited thorough exam preparation through school civil servant classes, budget support from the Office, and systematic guidance from teachers as reasons for the success. In particular, customized career guidance was evaluated to have played a significant role in improving employment rates and the quality of employment for specialized high school students.


Lee Hyun-hee, Director of the Future Talent Division, stated, “We will do our best to support employment competency enhancement so that specialized high school students can find and strive for careers suited to their aptitudes,” and added, “We will take the lead in revitalizing vocational education so that students can discover and achieve their precious personal dreams.”
