Mayor Chae was honored as the Welfare District Mayor of the Year in recognition of his efforts to improve the care environment and establish a welfare safety net for women, children, and the elderly, including the creation of the women's communication culture space ‘HEY YDP,’ the establishment of the after-school care space Island, the vulnerable group check-up project ‘Salgu Doorbell,’ and the smart plug-based solitary death prevention project.
