Mokpo National University Hosts 2020 Engineering Online Festival

Special Lecture by LG Electronics Executive Director Choi Seong-ho, Featuring a Variety of Programs

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] Mokpo National University (President Park Min-seo) announced on the 24th that the College of Engineering, hosted by Dean Lee Sang-don, and the Engineering Education Innovation Center, led by Director Kim Sung-hwan, will hold the "2020 Engineering Online Festival" from the 26th to the 30th to share the outstanding achievements of the College of Engineering graduates.

This festival will present and exhibit the excellent achievements of the College of Engineering graduates online. In addition, there will be a special lecture by a distinguished guest (Choi Sung-ho, Executive Director of LG Electronics), a capstone design competition, and programs organized by the College of Engineering student council.

Due to COVID-19, the event will be conducted mainly online in an ontact format, departing from the traditional offline method, and will showcase students' outstanding achievements through an "online studio."

Dean Lee Sang-don of the College of Engineering said, "We hope that the growth and achievements of local talents working with our community will be shared and encouraged even in the online space," and asked for active participation from local residents and members.
