[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] A Jeju resident visited Yeosu, underwent testing at a screening clinic, and was confirmed positive for COVID-19, being classified as Yeosu case number 22.

According to Yeosu City on the 24th, the 22nd confirmed case in Yeosu is a Jeju resident who arrived in Yeosu around 8 p.m. on the 22nd via Yeosu Airport from Incheon. Afterwards, they moved to a motel in Yeocheon.

Mr. A was classified as a close contact of a confirmed case related to an entertainment establishment in Incheon and was notified to get tested, which he did at the Yeosu screening clinic the previous morning.

A Yeosu city official stated that regarding Mr. A’s movement route, “We checked CCTV and identified contacts, but there were no unusual movement routes.”
