Mokpo National University Department of Fine Arts, Design Korea Festival 2020 Exhibition

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] The Department of Fine Arts (Department Head Jo Eun-jung) at Mokpo National University (President Park Min-seo) announced on the 24th that at 4 p.m. on the 19th, the works of graduating students majoring in design in the Department of Fine Arts were exhibited both online and offline at the 'Design Korea Festival 2020' Excellent Designer Showcase (DK Job Fair).

The 'Design Korea Festival 2020,' Korea's representative comprehensive design expo, is hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Institute of Design Promotion, and runs until the 18th of next month.

This event is held simultaneously online and offline due to COVID-19, allowing visitors to make reservations through the official website and view the exhibition in person at the Bundang Korea Design Center. Exhibits include products that reexamine the history of Korean design and award-winning works from the Korea Design Exhibition.

In particular, the works of Mokpo National University Department of Fine Arts design major students (Kim Min-jun, Kim Ah-hyun, Kim Hyun-seung, Kim Hee-jin, Yoon Dong-hoon, Lee Yeo-jin, Park Na-hyun, Jung Ho-won, Hwang Chang-min) were filmed and exhibited using VR (Virtual Reality) technology, providing a feeling as if viewing them on site.
