The Non-Face-to-Face Exclusive 'TodakTodak Seomin & Junggeumri Seomin Loan' Product Released Last June
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] DGB Daegu Bank announced on the 24th that the cumulative supply amount of the non-face-to-face exclusive product ‘Todak Todak Low-income & Mid-interest Low-income Loan,’ launched in June, has surpassed 100 billion KRW, and that it is focusing on expanding various low-income financial support bases.
The ‘Todak Todak Low-income & Mid-interest Loan’ product is a package of the previously sold Saeheung Hope Loan and Ddokddok Ddantan Mid-interest Loan. On the IM Bank app, customers can fully automatically check loan limits and select products for low-income and mid-interest loans without connecting to a staff member.
Shortly after its launch, it attracted the interest of medium- and low-credit customers, and within about five months, the cumulative supply amount exceeded 100 billion KRW. This is analyzed to be mainly due to the simple non-face-to-face exclusive product that allowed quick checking of loan limits for the two loan products within one minute and product selection.
A Daegu Bank official explained, “It is possible to check the loan limit without a bank account, and after loan approval, customers can open a bank account to use the service, which likely increased customer utilization.” He added, “In particular, the strength lies in the easy and fast loan application and contract through automated document submission (scraping) using a certified certificate without visiting the bank or submitting separate documents.”
