Jeil Electric Industrial, the largest domestic electrical wiring device manufacturer (CEO Kang Dong-wook), announced on the 19th that it was selected as an ‘Excellent Quality Competitiveness Company’ for the sixth consecutive year at the ‘46th National Quality Management Competition’ hosted by the National Institute of Technology and Standards under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and organized by the Korea Standards Association.
The Excellent Quality Competitiveness Company award is a system that commends companies that continuously enhance customer satisfaction through cost reduction, productivity improvement, and quality enhancement, achieving outstanding management performance and contributing to the improvement of national industrial competitiveness.
Jeil Electric Industrial received a high evaluation of 3rd grade out of 9 grades based on a comprehensive score after on-site evaluation by 69 quality experts on 13 evaluation items including strategy and management systems, corporate culture, talent development, and quality systems, earning the honor of winning the award for six consecutive years this year.
Since 2010, Jeil Electric Industrial has continuously grown by developing smart home distribution devices in line with the 4th Industrial Revolution trend, introducing high value-added products. Due to the nature of products responsible for electrical wiring in homes, the company explained that securing stable quality is its top priority to ensure both user safety and convenience.
Kang Dong-wook, CEO of Jeil Electric Industrial, said, “Currently, Jeil Electric Industrial’s main products play a key role in building smart homes based on IoT technology,” and added, “We will put more effort into quality innovation with a sense of mission to ensure product stability and electrical safety in homes through strengthening expertise.”
