Tmon Sells Used Cars Through 'Tving'... Offers Carefully Selected Listings at Lowest Prices

Check Listings in Real Time Through Live Communication... Up to 1.5 Million KRW Cheaper Than Market Price

Tmon Sells Used Cars Through 'Tving'... Offers Carefully Selected Listings at Lowest Prices

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] TMON is expanding its live commerce domain by selling used cars. TMON (CEO Lee Jin-won) announced that it will sell 9 used cars through 'TVON' at 11 a.m. on the 25th.

All are latest models released between 2017 and 2020, including vehicles with mileage close to new cars, around 10,000 km. TMON customers can check the listings through real-time video and two-way chat communication, and purchase used cars at special prices up to 1.5 million KRW cheaper than the market price for similar vehicles.

The vehicles TMON is selling this time are lease or rental cars that were returned early or fully paid off. TMON explained that through collaboration with its partner 'MyCarAuction BigCha,' it secured listings mainly traded in business-to-business (B2B) transactions, enabling it to offer vehicles at the lowest prices compared to similar models. By not going through a separate purchasing company, it minimized intermediary fees.

Customers wishing to purchase must first buy a designated contract waiting number up to 20 times per vehicle. Priority contract rights are given according to the order number, and if the priority contract fails, the contract right passes to the next in line. Buyers will sign the contract after physically inspecting the vehicle, and will receive the vehicle only after completing payment through TMON.

A TMON representative said, "This TVON sale will alleviate customers' concerns who hesitate to purchase among numerous used car listings by offering only selected vehicles at the lowest prices," and added, "TMON plans to continuously introduce special used car deals at the lowest price level by focusing on limited vehicles in excellent condition."
