Dongjak-gu Operates Online Solo Entrepreneurship Academy

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Dongjak-gu (Mayor Changwoo Lee) will operate an 'Online One-Person Startup Academy' for local (prospective) entrepreneurs until December.

This program is designed to strengthen the promotional capabilities of (prospective) entrepreneurs through simple and easy blog promotion and SNS marketing education, supporting successful startups by reducing marketing costs.

The target participants are 14 local (prospective) entrepreneurs interested in SNS marketing, and registration will close on a first-come, first-served basis before the start date.

Residents who wish to participate can visit the Economic Promotion Division (9th floor, Yuhan Yanghaeng Building, 74 Noryangjin-ro) or apply via email (blueyim2@dongjak.go.kr).

The education will be conducted in a total of 8 sessions from the 30th to December 16th, delivered online using the video conferencing program ZOOM to prevent COVID-19 infection.

▲ Blog promotion marketing ▲ Video content production promotion education ▲ Online business card and catalog creation using Naver Modoo ▲ Naver Smart Store shopping mall sales education, and other online marketing fields will be taught by professional instructors sharing their know-how.

If students wish to receive additional support, one-on-one supplementary education will be provided at the Youth Startup Support Center counseling room (44-1 Sangdo-ro 47-gil, 3rd floor) at a separate scheduled time.

During the education, wearing masks is mandatory, and quarantine rules such as temperature checks, hand sanitizer use, visitor entry record management will be strictly followed. Desks and tables will be spaced more than 2 meters apart, and frequently touched areas such as door handles will be disinfected at least once daily.

After completing the course, detailed follow-up management will be conducted through one-on-one consultations with a dedicated startup incubation manager to support graduates in their startup activities.

For inquiries, contact the Economic Promotion Division for guidance.

Kim Jungwon, head of the Economic Promotion Division, said, “Dongjak-gu’s specialized startup education, the ‘One-Person Startup Academy,’ is a good guide for small capital startups,” and added, “We hope many prospective entrepreneurs interested will participate.”
