NH Nonghyup Bank, Customer-Centric Revamp of Smart and Internet Banking

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] NH Nonghyup Bank and Nonghyup Mutual Savings Bank announced on the 23rd that they have revamped NH Smart Banking and Internet Banking by collecting customer feedback from customer suggestions and app market reviews to provide more convenient financial services for customers.

On the account inquiry screen of Smart Banking, customers can view the list and balance of accounts not only from Nonghyup but also from other banks at a glance, and the transfer transaction process has been simplified to input only one piece of information at a time, reducing transaction time.

For personalized services, when logging into the app, personalized financial information such as maturity of savings and deposits and preferential benefits received are provided on the initial screen. Even without installing the Nonghyup Card app, customers can check card approval details, billing statements, and apply for cards through Smart Banking.

Support for foreigners and the elderly who are not familiar with digital finance has also been strengthened. The ‘Global Mode,’ which provides banking services in nine languages for foreigners, shows the buying and selling exchange rates of three currencies designated by the customer on the first screen, and places buttons for quick access to frequently used functions such as overseas remittance and currency exchange.

Additionally, for the elderly, if customers set the ‘Large Text Mode,’ they can use a dedicated screen with large fonts and simplified items for major functions such as inquiry and transfer from the Smart Banking initial screen. Internet Banking also supports the use of large fonts for inquiry, transfer, giro payment, foreign remittance, and currency exchange.

Jung Jong-wook, Head of Digital Channel Department at Nonghyup Bank, said, “Now, when digital finance is more important than ever, we will continuously provide ‘Convenience Premium’ (convenience + premium) so that customers can experience convenient financial services in their daily lives.”
