[Asia Economy Kim Hyun-jun, Golf Specialist Reporter] Robert Streb (USA), ranked 380th in the world, has seized a chance to win for the first time in six years.

On the 22nd (Korean time), at the Seaside Course (par 70, 7,005 yards) of Sea Island Resort in Georgia, USA, during the third day of the PGA Tour RSM Classic (total prize money $6.6 million), he added 3 under par to take a 3-stroke lead (17 under par, 195 strokes). This tournament is especially known as the "Promised Land," where he secured his first victory in 2014 (then called the McGladrey Classic). He recalls the thrilling memory of sinking a 1.5-meter winning birdie on the second hole of a playoff against Brendon de Jonge (South Africa).

On this day, Streb made three birdies on holes 8, 10, and 15. It is interesting that after a bogey on the 2nd hole (par 4) in the first round, he has continued with "no-bogey play." His third-round average greens in regulation rate of 81.48%, his "pinpoint iron shots," and an impressive 1.61 putts per hole demonstrate his strong performance. Jack Johnson and Bronson Burgoon (both USA) are tied for second place (14 under par, 198 strokes), while Emiliano Grillo (Argentina) is in fourth place (13 under par, 199 strokes), all looking for their opportunity.
