[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-ju] With the revelation of former Yuri Holdings CEO Yoo In-seok's (35) prostitution charges, his wife, actress Park Han-byul, is also drawing attention.

Kim Mo, a former MD of Club Arena, testified on the 19th at the Ground Operations Command Ordinary Military Court in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, during the third trial of Seungri (real name Lee Seung-hyun), a former member of the group Big Bang, stating that he assisted in prostitution under the direction of former CEO Yoo.

Seungri was indicted on charges including mediation of prostitution and habitual gambling, and former CEO Yoo was also brought to trial for mediating prostitution alongside Seungri and embezzling company funds.

In this situation, netizens' attention is focused on Park Han-byul, the wife of former CEO Yoo.

Park Han-byul married former CEO Yoo in 2017 and gave birth to a son in April of the following year.

Since the 'Burning Sun' incident broke out and investigations into former CEO Yoo began, Park Han-byul has not been active in entertainment.

While appearing in MBC's "Love in Sadness," which marked her return after two years due to pregnancy and childbirth, the allegations against former CEO Yoo In-seok surfaced, and Park Han-byul also became a topic of discussion. It was reported that she even submitted a petition to prevent her husband's detention at that time.

Park Han-byul has also stopped her social media activities and is said to have moved to Jeju Island last year to live with her family. Several posts claiming to have seen Park Han-byul in Jeju Island have appeared on online communities.

Yoo In-seok previously admitted to most of the charges, including mediation of prostitution, in court and pleaded for leniency.

Seungri enlisted in the military ahead of his trial and is to be tried by a military court, but he denied all the charges brought by the prosecution on that day.

Yoo In-seok and singer Jung Joon-young were selected as witnesses for Seungri's trial but submitted reasons for absence and did not attend the trial that day.
