[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] Shinsegae Chosun Hotel announced on the 17th that it has signed a business agreement with Samsung Electronics for the smart system of the 'Chosun Palace Seoul Gangnam, a Luxury Collection Hotel,' scheduled to open in the first half of next year.


This business agreement is part of providing differentiated services to customers visiting the hotel by introducing Samsung Electronics' hotel-exclusive smart TVs and the dedicated Link Cloud solution in all guest rooms, and jointly developing infrastructure for the modernization and digital innovation of room services.


With the introduction of the smart system, guests at Chosun Palace Hotel will be able to conveniently access hotel information, request room service or amenities, and shop through the TV screen in their rooms.


Brian Baek, Head of New Business Division at Shinsegae Chosun Hotel, said, "Through this MOU, we will introduce the most convenient and modern system from the customer's perspective to create a differentiated smart hotel."
