On the 17th, Naver Whale signed a joint research and development agreement for remote evaluation technology with Pusan National University School of Dentistry and NSDevil, a company specializing in online remote evaluation technology R&D.
Pusan National University School of Medicine has been actively improving its evaluation system by utilizing UBT (cloud and AI-based proctoring technology) to implement future evaluation environments such as multimedia questions. It gained attention for conducting remote graduation exams using AI technology during social distancing measures.
Through this agreement, test takers will be able to activate the UBT cloud exam mode simply by accessing the Whale browser. The AI proctor recognizes the test taker's facial movements to detect abnormalities in real time, fundamentally preventing cheating.
Kim Hyuncheol, the dean of the graduate school, said, "Based on this joint research agreement, Pusan National University School of Dentistry was able to establish an AI evaluation environment based on the Whale web browser with improved user convenience and stability. We will continue to strengthen cooperation with Whale browser and NSDevil by leveraging our leading experience."
Kim Hyo, Naver Whale lead responsible said, "We will provide simple and secure web browser-based evaluation technology to prevent various cheating and harmful acts during exams, and spare no support to achieve the goal of innovating the evaluation environment in the domestic and international healthcare sectors."
