LG Uplus announced on the 16th that during the Korean Series held from the 17th to the 25th, it will provide ▲ a U+ Pro Baseball specialized service available only on the AR glasses 'U+ Real Glass' ▲ VR Live content that allows viewing from the best seats in the stadium ▲ special broadcasts featuring former managers and players of professional baseball teams.
The U+ Real Glass offers a 100-inch screen with four screens, providing real-time baseball broadcasts along with various related information simultaneously. Users of the baseball service platform U+ Pro Baseball can check ▲ live broadcasts ▲ key game information (scores, pitching, outs status) ▲ pitcher vs. batter records ▲ and situations from other stadiums at a glance.
VR Live is accessible through the U+ VR app. When entering the Korean Series Live game, viewers can vividly enjoy the game from the perspective of the coveted seat behind the catcher, which is usually difficult to reserve. During inning changes or breaks, viewers can also see the players in the dugout right in front of them. The special broadcasts provided by U+ Pro Baseball feature former national baseball team manager Kim In-sik and retired players Kim Tae-kyun and Jung Geun-woo as commentators.
The AR glasses customized service of U+ Pro Baseball is available on the U+ Real Glass. When running the U+ Pro Baseball app on the device, a dedicated content screen automatically appears.
