[Asia Economy Reporter Park So-yeon] Kim Dong-kwan, President of the Strategy Division at Hanwha Solutions, participated in the 'Flower Bucket Challenge' campaign to support flower farms struggling due to COVID-19.
According to Hanwha Solutions on the 15th, President Kim Dong-kwan was nominated by Cho Hyun-sang, CEO of Hyosung Group, and supported the creation of an 'Eco-friendly Flower Art Wall' in the Citizen's Garden, a citizen rest area inside Seoul City Hall.
The eco-friendly flower art wall is an exhibit decorated with flowers and plants on the wall, serving the purpose of indoor air purification. It also provides a good background for photos for visitors to Citizen's Hall.
The production of this art wall was a joint effort involving Seoul City Hall and Breath Keeper, operated by Brothers Keeper, a social enterprise specializing in wall greening. The flowers needed for the production were prepared through donations to the Rural Coexistence Cooperation Fund.
President Kim Dong-kwan said, "I am pleased to participate in a campaign that helps domestic flower farms." He nominated Hutch Hong, Deputy General Manager of GS Retail, and Lee Kyu-ho, Executive Director of the FnC Division at Kolon Industries, as the next participants.
