[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-ju] Vilppu from Finland visited Korea with his wife and shared an update on his recent life.
On the 12th, Vilppu from Finland, who has been living in Korea for a month, appeared on MBC Every1's "Welcome, First Time in Korea?".
The broadcast revealed Vilppu's daily life living in Korea.
Appearing in the studio, Vilppu introduced himself as "Vilppu from Finland, living in Korea for one month," and the cast members greeted him warmly, saying, "It feels like seeing a celebrity."
Vilppu previously appeared on "Welcome, First Time in Korea?" in 2017, gaining love by showcasing an ecstatic Korean food "mukbang." He visited Korea again last year at the viewers' request.
Especially, the meeting of Korean Kim Jun-hyun and Finnish Vilppu, two food enthusiasts, delighted the MCs, who said, "Who would have thought we'd see a two-shot like this?"
Vilppu confessed, "I gained 3kg after coming to Korea."
The video that followed showed Vilppu and his wife arriving in Korea and entering a two-week self-quarantine.
Vilppu, newlywed for four months, spoke about his wife Ryu Seon-jeong, saying, "She is the most beautiful person in the world to me."
The couple said they met three years ago through a friend's introduction.
Ms. Ryu revealed herself cooking for her husband during the self-quarantine period.
She said, "I'm cooking for the baby. Our baby is always hungry," which caused laughter.
