LG Household & Health Care Successfully Completes Guanggunje... Records Highest Sales Ever


[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] LG Household & Health Care (CEO Cha Seok-yong) announced on the 12th that it achieved record-breaking sales during this year's Singles' Day.


LG Household & Health Care's six luxury cosmetics brands?Whoo, Su:m37, O Hui, belif, VDL, and CNP?recorded sales of 1.55 billion RMB (approximately 260 billion KRW), marking a 174% increase compared to the previous year.


Whoo's Singles' Day sales grew by 181% year-on-year, ranking third in luxury cosmetics brand sales behind Est?e Lauder and Lanc?me, entering the beauty brand 1 billion RMB (approximately 168 billion KRW) club.


In particular, Whoo's flagship popular product, the Cheongidan Hwahyun Set, ranked third in sales across all categories on Tmall, following Huawei and Apple, selling 760,000 sets?a 200% increase compared to last year.


Additionally, Whoo ranked first in the beauty category for the first time and secured first place for the second consecutive year in the basic skincare category.


Su:m37 grew 92% year-on-year, ranking third among domestic luxury beauty brands. Other luxury cosmetics brands also showed significant growth compared to the previous year, with O Hui at 783%, CNP at 156%, belif at 153%, and VDL at 7%.
