Composers, Musicians Job Matching Social Network Service 'Muzit' Launch

Composigners (CEO Kim Dayeon) announced the launch of 'Muzit,' a social network service for matching job opportunities for musicians.

Composigners is a promising company selected this year for the Preliminary Startup Package by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, the Women's Venture Startup Care Program by the Korea Women’s Venture Association, and as a resident company at the Jongno Youth Startup Center, receiving support such as commercialization funds and mentoring.

Composigners introduced Muzit as a mobile platform designed to fundamentally solve problems in the music industry by enabling musicians, who previously found it difficult to gain new opportunities without industry connections, to connect online. They added that, in line with the brand slogan "A world where all musicians in Korea are connected," the platform offers social networking features such as profile building, artist search, adding connections, 1:1 messaging, and posting.

Muzit's strength lies in its ability to register profiles optimized for musicians. While existing job matching services had profile formats focused on company work history, making it difficult for musicians to showcase their expertise, Muzit allows users to upload videos, concert posters, and more to effectively present their careers. Additionally, users can register instruments they can play and music-related software they can use, enabling industry professionals to specifically PR their skills and expertise.

Unlike existing music-specialized communities limited to certain genres, Muzit is an open space for all musicians regardless of field, including classical, practical music, and gugak (traditional Korean music). This allows musicians from diverse fields to meet, interact, and collaborate, and through Muzit's own planned projects, unprecedented creative works and performances can be produced.

Furthermore, Muzit provides integrated information necessary for music activities. By gathering industry information such as job postings, competitions and auditions, support programs, contests, and performances in one place, users can quickly and efficiently obtain desired information without the hassle of visiting multiple sites.

A representative from Composigners stated, "'Muzit' is preparing an 'SNS Friend Invitation Event' to meet more users ahead of its December launch."
