CareLabs Goodoc Offers Free Non-Face-to-Face Electronic Entry Log 'QR Check-in' to Hospitals in the Seoul Metropolitan Area

[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Goodoc, a 100% subsidiary of Carelabs, is offering a free non-face-to-face electronic entry log service called ‘QR Check-in’ to hospitals in the Seoul metropolitan area to prevent the spread of COVID-19, following its Mask Scanner service that informs the quantity of public masks.

Goodoc’s ‘QR Check-in’ is a non-face-to-face check-in platform service where patients visiting hospitals use their mobile devices to fill out medical questionnaires and authenticate the issued entry pass at kiosks installed within the hospital. This service, initially introduced in Seoul to prevent the spread of COVID-19, is currently used in about 20 major hospitals in Seoul.

Goodoc will provide free platform integration and kiosk installation within hospitals for those wishing to adopt the ‘QR Check-in’ service by the 30th of this month. This free ‘QR Check-in’ service is targeted at hospitals located in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon regions with an average daily visitor count of over 300. Detailed information and application submissions are available on the ‘Goodoc Official Reception Service’ blog.

Park Kyungdeuk, CEO of Goodoc, stated, “Although the COVID-19 virus is still spreading, there is an unfortunate tendency in Korea to accept the situation indifferently as it enters the mid-to-long term phase. As Goodoc holds the position of the nation’s number one non-face-to-face medical platform service provider, we plan to strengthen a more thorough quarantine system centered on a network of hospitals that can be linked.”

Goodoc is Korea’s leading non-face-to-face medical service platform, with about 10,000 daily users of its medical reception services. The company plans to immediately establish the service system for participating hospitals, as the free ‘QR Check-in’ service plays a fundamental role in COVID-19 prevention, and will gradually expand the regions and scope of adoption in the future.
