[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Young-gyun] Jeonnam Hwasun-gun (Governor Gu Chung-gon) announced on the 10th that the application deadline for emergency livelihood support funds for crisis households whose income has decreased due to COVID-19 will be extended until the 20th.
The emergency livelihood support fund for crisis households targets non-beneficiary and low-income crisis households whose income has decreased due to COVID-19, with a household income at or below 75% of the median income and assets of 300 million KRW or less.
The county relaxed the application criteria and extended the application period once until the 6th, but to ensure that all households with decreased income due to COVID-19 apply, the on-site application period has been extended until the 20th.
Required documents have been simplified, and daily workers who have difficulty proving income can receive support after submitting a self-declaration of income reduction and undergoing review. Support funds will be provided within the budget limits.
Online applications are not accepted; applicants must visit the administrative welfare center in their district or township to submit the application form and required documents.
However, those who are recipients of other COVID-19 damage support programs such as Basic Livelihood Security (livelihood benefits), Emergency Welfare (livelihood benefits), and Emergency Employment Stability Support Fund are excluded.
