Suncheon-si Extends Application and Reception Period for Small Business Owners' New Hope Fund

Application for Objection, Payment Change, and Supplement at Suncheon Palma Indoor Gymnasium until the 30th

Suncheon-si Extends Application and Reception Period for Small Business Owners' New Hope Fund

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Suncheon City (Mayor Heo Seok) is extending the on-site and online application period until the 13th for small business owners who have not yet applied for the Small Business New Hope Fund.

The city had accepted on-site applications for the Small Business New Hope Fund until the 6th, but to accommodate small business owners who have not yet applied, the application period has been extended by one week, allowing additional applications in person and online until the 13th.

Additionally, appeals, payment changes, and document supplementation applications related to the Small Business New Hope Fund will be accepted until the 30th.

The appeal targets are those who received a non-payment notification via text message and those who need to appeal due to reasons such as the representative's overseas stay or corporate account seizure, which make them ineligible to apply for the New Hope Fund.

The payment change application targets are cases where additional payments of the New Hope Fund are needed or small business owners with multiple business locations who initially received 1 million KRW as a general business type and then apply to change to a special damage business type for additional payment.

The document supplementation targets are small business owners who, after applying on-site, received a text message from the Small Enterprise and Market Service verification team requesting additional documents; they must submit a supplementation application form and the supplementary documents.

To apply, submit the Small Business New Hope Fund application form and supporting documents at Suncheon Palma Indoor Gymnasium (West Gate Office) by the 30th.

A Suncheon City official stated, "We expect that this extension of the application period will allow more small business owners to receive support." He added, "Although there may be some inconvenience, we ask for the active interest of small business owners to ensure that no one misses out on support by filing appeals or change/supplement applications."
