The Hansol-dong Community Security Council of Sejong Special Self-Governing City (Private Chairman Im Jae-geung, Public Chairman Kim On-hoe) is implementing the 'Employment Certification Acquisition Support Project' for low-income vulnerable groups.
The support targets are low-income individuals aged 18 or older with an address in Hansol-dong, including basic livelihood security recipients, single-parent families, and near-poverty groups.
The council plans to provide up to 500,000 KRW in support when the beneficiaries acquire certifications such as caregiver, barista, driver's license, wallpaper installer, hairdresser, or cook for employment purposes.
The project will initially target about 10 people using the council's joint fundraising funds and will continue by informing all low-income residents of Hansol-dong through text messages and notices.
Kim On-hoe, head of Hansol-dong, said, "We will contribute to creating conditions for low-income residents in the area to become self-reliant by supporting their acquisition of certifications."
