Strengthening the Chinese Online Market
[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] Lifestyle beauty company Aekyung Industrial has opened the Aekyung Kerasis flagship store on Tmall, China's largest e-commerce platform.
Aekyung Kerasis has opened flagship stores in both the Tmall International Pavilion and Domestic Pavilion, selling key products such as shampoo and rinse from the hair clinic and perfume lines. Special care products and hair dye are also planned to be launched in the future.
With the opening of the flagship store, Aekyung Kerasis plans to strengthen digital marketing using models such as actress Suzy and Chinese Wanghong influencers to enhance brand awareness.
Additionally, to strengthen competitiveness in the Chinese online market, various events and products tailored to Chinese consumers will be introduced. Prior to this, Aekyung Industrial opened the 'Aekyung Flagship Store' and 'Luna Flagship Store' on Tmall.
Tmall is an online comprehensive shopping mall operated by Alibaba Group, the largest e-commerce company in China.
An Aekyung Industrial official stated, "Through the opening of the Tmall flagship store, we expect to expand sales channels and consumer contact points in the Chinese market," adding, "Starting with the entry of Aekyung Kerasis into Tmall, we will do our best to successfully establish ourselves in the Chinese hair care market."
