[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Yuri] Geumseong Baekjo announced on the 9th that it will open the model house of 'Daegu Technopolis Yemi Ji The Central & Abbey News One' on the 13th and start sales.
This complex, located in the RC block of Daegu Technopolis, Yuga-eup, Dalseong-gun, Daegu, will be developed as an apartment complex consisting of 9 buildings ranging from 2 basement floors to 35 above-ground floors, with units sized between 99 and 152㎡ (exclusive area), totaling 894 households. Within the complex, a premium commercial facility called 'Abbey News One' with a total floor area of 42,581㎡ spanning from the 1st basement floor to the 3rd floor will also be established. The apartments are composed of ▲297 units of 99㎡A ▲296 units of 99㎡B ▲198 units of 107㎡ ▲99 units of 115㎡ ▲4 units of 152㎡P based on exclusive area.
To prevent the spread of COVID-19, the complex will operate by appointment only, adhering to social distancing guidelines. Visitors can make advance visit reservations through the official website, and entry will be allowed only to those with reservations and one accompanying person. For those unable to visit in person, a cyber model house will also be available on the website.
As the housing is subject to the price ceiling system, it can be purchased at a reasonable price, which is expected to attract strong interest from buyers, according to sales officials. The first-priority subscription qualification requires applicants to be residents of Daegu or Gyeongbuk aged 19 or older, with a subscription savings account held for more than six months and meeting the deposit requirements by region and housing type.
The Daegu Industrial Line Technopolis Station is planned to be constructed near the complex. Using the Daegu Industrial Line, which is scheduled to open in 2027, it will take about 20 minutes to travel from Technopolis Station to downtown Daegu, including Seodaegu Station. The nearby Bukhyeonpung IC provides easy access to the Jungbu Inland Expressway and Gyeongbu Expressway for wide-area travel, and using the access road between Daegu Arboretum and Technopolis allows travel to downtown Daegu within 20 minutes.
Several elementary, middle, and high schools, including Posan High School, are located nearby, enabling short-distance commuting. The central commercial district has a cluster of academies, and the National Daegu Science Museum, Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology, Keimyung University Dalseong Campus, and the planned site for Kyungpook National University campus are also close by. The complex offers views of Biseulsan Mountain to the east, and to the west lies Central Park, which is about nine times the size of a soccer field (approximately 64,000㎡).
Right in front of the complex is the Technopolis central commercial facility. Residents can walk to the already active central commercial area, and within the complex, 'Abbey News One,' Daegu Technopolis's first themed street mall inspired by the vibe of New York's Manhattan, will be developed. Nearby are large-scale industrial complexes such as Nexen General Industrial Complex and Dalseong 1st and 2nd Industrial Complexes.
Daegu Technopolis Yemi Ji The Central features large main unit sizes with 5- and 6-bay designs and includes penthouse units. The 99㎡A type has a multi-purpose alpha room, while the 99㎡B type maximizes usable space with balconies on three sides. The 107㎡ and 115㎡ units have a 5-bay structure, providing excellent lighting and ventilation. The penthouse, 152㎡P, is specialized with a 6-bay layout, outdoor terrace, and family room.
Meanwhile, the premium commercial facility 'Abbey News One' by Geumseong Baekjo will be included within the complex. The Daegu version of Abbey News One plans to feature six anchor facilities and supplement profit-guaranteed operational sections on each floor.
The model house for Daegu Technopolis Yemi Ji The Central is located in Bong-ri 620, Yuga-eup, Dalseong-gun, Daegu. Move-in is scheduled for November 2023.
