[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Gyeongsangbuk-do announced on the 8th that it has published a travel booklet featuring 45 recommended travel destinations in Gyeongbuk for autumn and winter, categorized into 10 themes.
The themes are ▲Be Passionate with Activities ▲Hidden Trekking Spots ▲Train Travel Along the Railway ▲Under the Starry Night ▲Ultimate Scenic Views ▲Healing Soul Stay ▲Scenes of Silence ▲Snow Kingdom Sledding Parks ▲Romance of Christmas ▲Leisurely Sea Walks. The booklet guides travelers to enjoy a rich Gyeongbuk trip with various themes ranging from autumn foliage viewing to winter snow sightseeing.
In particular, along with introductions to major themed travel destinations, two nearby tourist spots are also introduced. Local restaurants are included to add the fun of gourmet travel, and surrounding travel spots are marked on the map to ensure travelers have no inconvenience in finding their way, according to Gyeongbuk Province.
The autumn and winter Gyeongbuk travel promotional booklet is available at major tourist information centers in the province, Gyeongbuk Tourism Promotion Hall, and tourist sites. It is also posted in e-book format on the 'Gyeongbuk Nadri' website.
Kim Sang-cheol, Director of the Culture, Tourism and Sports Bureau of Gyeongsangbuk-do, said, "This travel booklet, which carefully captures Gyeongbuk's beautiful tourist spots, will be responsible for tourists' trips this autumn and winter," adding, "We hope that people exhausted by COVID-19 blues will heal and create joyful memories in Gyeongbuk."
