Gyeongnam Information University signed an MOU with the Busan Women and Family Development Institute regarding violence prevention education and research development.
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Gyeongnam Information University (President Chu Man-seok) signed an MOU on November 4th at the 2nd floor conference room of Minseok Memorial Hall on campus with the Busan Women and Family Development Institute (Director Seong Hyang-sook) regarding cooperation on violence prevention and other matters.
The two institutions agreed to jointly promote △ research cooperation on policies for enhancing the capabilities of new students and violence prevention △ support and promotion of customized violence prevention education for new students.
Park Yong-su, Vice President of Planning at the university, said, “In recent years, issues related to sexual harassment and sexual violence have emerged, increasing the importance of violence prevention education. Through this agreement, I hope both institutions will greatly contribute to violence prevention.”
The Busan Women and Family Development Institute is an organization that conducts policy research in the women and family sector, implements projects linked to policy proposals and gender equality education, and has been dedicated to creating jobs for women in Busan, work-life balance, and spreading a culture of gender equality.
