KCC-KAIT Successfully Conclude the 11th <em>Telecommunication Service Users Week</em> At the 'Communication Users Protection Talk Concert,' 48 communication service users participated online and engaged in a Q&A session with experts on user protection policies.

The "11th Telecommunications Service Users Week" event, held online over two days from November 4 to 5, concluded successfully.


Hosted and organized by the Korea Communications Commission (Chairman Han Sang-hyuk, hereafter KCC) and the Korea Information and Communication Promotion Association (President Park Jung-ho), this event was prepared to promote a user-centered, safe, and convenient telecommunications service usage culture. Under the slogan "Contactless Era! A Safe World with Users," all ceremonies and side events were held online to prevent the spread of COVID-19.


The event began with the "Best Practices Presentation on User Protection Work," featuring representatives from seven telecommunications companies including SKT, KT, LGU+, SKB, CMB, SK Telink, and Korea Cable Telecom. It continued with various programs such as "Telecommunications Service Utilization and Damage Prevention Education" and the "Telecommunications User Protection Talk Concert." Notably, 48 users participated online in the talk concert, engaging in real-time Q&A sessions with experts on user protection policies.


Additionally, various side events were held to allow users to participate directly online, including collecting opinions on pre-installed smartphone app policies, verifying unclaimed broadcasting and telecommunications refunds, a youth harmful media blocking acrostic poem contest (Nhaengsi), and comment-based prize draws.
