[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] The 'YouTube Creator Advanced Training Course,' which challenges entrepreneurs to discover their own differentiated content using the YouTube platform, attracted great attention.
According to the Jeonnam Information & Culture Industry Promotion Agency (Director Lee Jun-geun, hereinafter referred to as the Promotion Agency), the 'One-person Creator Accelerator Project' recruited 25 prospective YouTubers and conducted a 45-hour 'YouTube Creator Advanced Training' course over six days from the 29th of last month to the 5th at the Bitgaram Hotel in Naju.
This training focused primarily on technical education essential for YouTube activities, including content production, promotion and marketing, and overall management.
In particular, the training emphasized the entire video production process, from content planning to camera shooting, video editing, uploading results, and shooting practice, allowing participants to acquire the skills necessary for content creation on-site through hands-on experience.
Additionally, legal, management, tax, accounting, and entrepreneurship special lectures were provided alongside mentoring and advice necessary for actual startups, helping participants develop the capabilities and qualities required as YouTube entrepreneurs.
Furthermore, by utilizing SNS platforms such as KakaoTalk and Band, YouTubers were able to participate in the training courses online, which received positive responses.
During the six-day training period, YouTubers diligently absorbed the curriculum, which was not easily accessible in daily life, consistently showing seriousness and concentration, and expressed satisfaction with the well-organized and substantial training program.

The Promotion Agency will select 20 final candidates for startup support through this advanced training course and provide a total of 80 million KRW (matched national and local funds, averaging 4 million KRW per person) in funding.
Moreover, continuous follow-up support will be linked through dedicated mentoring and networking programs. They also plan to derive improvements through satisfaction surveys.
A representative of the Promotion Agency stated, “By fostering the creativity and practical skills of prospective YouTubers, we aim to make them leaders of the one-person media industry and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and further contribute to the regional economy of Jeonnam by strengthening the substance of the education.”
Meanwhile, this project is conducted as a detailed task of the ‘2020 Regional Industry Customized Job Creation Support Project,’ aiming to nurture excellent local creators and promote regional industrial development through startups.
