Media Response Strategies for Major Risks Faced by Mid-sized Companies
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Federation of Medium-sized Enterprises announced on the 5th that it will hold the '2nd Medium-sized Enterprise Crisis Management Seminar of 2020' for employees of member companies. The seminar, to be held on the 11th at the Seoul Mapo Listed Companies Association Hall, will focus on the theme 'Media Response Strategies for Major Risks of Medium-sized Enterprises.' Lawyer Park Yoon-jung from Barun Law Firm will share effective media communication strategies according to the characteristics of crises.
The Federation launched the 'Medium-sized Enterprise Crisis Management Support Service' in May 2018 and has been striving to enhance crisis management and communication capabilities of medium-sized enterprises by holding annual crisis management seminars. Barun Law Firm signed a business agreement with the Federation in April last year to operate the 'Medium-sized Enterprise Crisis Management Support Service' and provides crisis management training and consulting centered on a dedicated crisis management team for medium-sized enterprises.
Kang Seung-ryong, head of public relations at the Federation, stated, "Since the COVID-19 outbreak, awareness of the need for crisis detection and response as a 'constant' has increased in the field, so we will focus on sharing practical know-how that can be actually applied, based on various cases."
