[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-ju] Singer Hye-eun has set out to find an old acquaintance.

On the 4th, KBS 2TV's 'TV Carries Love' aired a segment showing Hye-eun searching for her older sister from the theatrical troupe, Kim Tae-young, whom she parted from 55 years ago.

Before watching the tracking footage, Hyun Joo-yeop warned, "This tracking is blockbuster-level," making Hye-eun nervous.

Kim Tae-young, whom Hye-eun missed so much, was a member of the six-member girl band 'Seoul Family' and was the first in Korea to advance to the United States.

The 'TV Carries Love' production team painstakingly searched for veteran singers who performed with the US 8th Army, authors who wrote books about the original girl groups at the time, and original band members, eventually obtaining a clue that she got married in Las Vegas, USA.

The production team inquired throughout the Korean town in Las Vegas and finally found her. However, upon hearing that Kim Tae-young had gone to the hospital due to illness, Hye-eun burst into tears, worried.

In the end, Hye-eun called out loudly to Kim Tae-young at the final location, and Kim Tae-young appeared smiling. Kim Tae-young expressed regret, saying she only found out about Hye-eun being 'Kim Seung-joo,' who performed with her in the past, about 5 to 6 years ago.

That day, Kim Tae-young enjoyed the homeland food she had longed for and shared heartfelt moments with Hye-eun.
