People Making Mokpo, Volunteer Support for Side Dishes in Vulnerable Households

Realizing Professional and Systematic Volunteering... Started with 45 People in May

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Ki-dong] People Making Mokpo (Chairman Ahn Hyung-chan, hereinafter Mokmansa) conducted their first volunteer service on the morning of the 3rd as social distancing was eased to Level 1.

Mokmansa carried out side dish volunteer work together with the Mokpo City Council of the Movement for a Better Life and the International Wisemen Mokpo Bipa Club.

The side dish support project provides assistance to 280 vulnerable households across 23 neighborhoods in Mokpo City. The project was hosted by the Mokpo Welfare Foundation, sponsored by IBK Industrial Bank, and conducted at the Mokpo City Volunteer Center.

Chairman Ahn Hyung-chan expressed his aspiration, saying, "Starting with today's volunteer work, I want to create a Mokpo that coexists by directly visiting more diverse social classes and places that are marginalized and lonely."

Mokmansa is composed of five divisions, and in May, 45 members who love Mokpo gathered to realize professional and systematized volunteer work.
